'I can't find the connector for the GRA. I've already disassembled half of the amplifier board. Does anyone know where it's hidden?'
ASO is a Golf 3 TDI with a 1Z engine.

Hello Alfo,
"On my G3 1Z combination instrument, the connector was located behind the relay panel (a four-pin, flat connector). Since the cable attached to it isn't very long, it should be in the same location for you as well."
Best regards, Bertil.

Hi,
The guys at VW also like to hide the connector behind the pedals, under the carpet (that's where it was in my '96 G3 Variant).

I found a plug, but it doesn't fit. However, it has the same color as the wires. Are there different types of plugs?

Hello,
The plug doesn't directly fit the switch's connector; there's an intermediate cable needed (which you might have to build yourself, as I did).
Best regards, Bertil.
