For DI engines (and that's a DI engine according to the compression ratio), I only know the value in degrees KW. I estimate it to be around 1.36-1.38, and with alternative fuels like heating oil, RME, FAME, etc., it could go up to 1.45. -without guarantee-.

Okay, that actually aligns with the data from the 'Now I'll help...' resource.
I didn't trust that copied book.

The book specifies a value of 1.31 +/- 0.05 mm.
I've modified my second Ducato to run on 1.41 [presumably referring to a specific fuel or setting].
I've had good experiences with that.
I actually might have wanted to leave even earlier.
Okay, then I'll just avoid the risk.

I've also set this to 1.41 now.
It even reached 1.50 .

And yes, that is a DI, more specifically a TDI .

Hi,

No, just Diesel.
But I'm running a slightly higher LD (laser diode current), increased feed rate, and a modified LDA (laser Doppler anemometry) cone.
I always keep an eye on the water and oil temperatures.
But nothing is happening.

In my opinion, the 2.5 TDI engine has a lot of potential for tuning.
'It does have a 240 bar DÖD (good atomization), though.'
A 11mm HD component with only 116 horsepower as standard.
and all of that is spread out over 2.5 liters...
