Golf 2 MFA Display: How to Separate

I've done some research on how to build a digital LED display.
I think the idea is really good.

My first question is whether I can apply 5V to a second MAP sensor that is currently located at the intercooler and is not being used, and then read the values from it?
I would prefer to do this using this method, as the second MAP sensor is already faulty in my car, and I don't want to interfere with the engine control unit's settings.

My second question is whether I could use an MFA display from a GTI (2nd generation) for visualization. This might allow for the integration of other functions, such as oil temperature and outside temperature.

I think integrating the LD (likely referring to a specific display feature) might be more difficult, but the other functions should be relatively easy to implement, or am I mistaken? A complete MFA (Multi-Function Display) originally from a 4-series model is a bit too expensive for me, and as far as I know, it also lacks the oil temperature display.

The whole idea was abandoned after browsing the forum, as it's clear there's a simpler solution, like disassembling a Golf 2 instrument cluster.

Great forum, finally some competent guides and not just talk about aluminum rims and roof edge spoilers. I might even grow old here .
