Audi R8 Gen 2 Steering Wheel Alignment with VCDS

Rainer suggested that I post my question here.
I had a steering wheel removed from an R8 manufactured in late 2015 (so, the current model), and unfortunately, the slip ring was twisted during the process. Now, while everything is mechanically adjusted again, I can't get the steering system calibrated. According to Audi, the steering angle sensor and dynamic steering now need to be recalibrated. How can I do this with VCDS? Scan attached... Thank you .

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. The instructions probably refer to the previous model, the R8 type 42.
According to Audi, it should be done in Block 44 (steering assistance). I have also logged the error there. However, I'm stuck with the access permission issue. A yellow window with the code doesn't "pop up." Please see the attached images. Thank you.

Your VCDS version is outdated. Please download the latest version from your customer account.
2. I would have tried to pair the device at the location where the corresponding error message appears, which is address 0x1B.
"In your car scan data, the error shown in your Screenshot (end stops not learned) is not present. I suspect you may have deleted learning values from address 0x44. However, that shouldn't be the primary problem."

habe es anhand von dem 2ten Link mal probiert. Scheint leider nicht zu passen vom Ablauf her und 044 ist immer noch der Fehler drin mit den Endanschlägen. Habe auch mal wieder einen kompl. Scan gemacht, komisch ist nur, dass der Scan wohl nicht alle Steuergeräte abfragen konnte....siehe Anhang. Ich vermute weiterhin, dass ich bei 44 rein muss per Zugriffscode, den ich leider nicht habe. SIt seems that the procedure, according to Audi, is as follows:

Okay, now it worked. The problem was the end stops. These are "simply" adjusted with the motor running, by holding the steering wheel at the left stop for 5 seconds and then at the right stop. I tried this in various modes until it eventually "beeped," and then everything was finished and configured. Thanks again .

Unfortunately, the limit switches are no longer working correctly.
According to the Odis system, all values are within the correct parameters, but it's still acting up.
Attached is the complete scan. Also included is data from the steering assist module via VCDS. Am I correct in assuming that the setting "active" must be selected in the basic settings? Does anyone have any ideas about what's needed to fix this?

To be upfront: I have no idea about this topic and can only comment based on what you've posted.

The last Screenshot shows that the connection on the left is indicated as "not connected." The right side appears to be working correctly and completely to me.
The right turn is indicated as being "learned while stationary." The phrase "while stationary" suggests to me that another part needs to be learned on the left side. Purely speculatively, I would guess that it also wants to learn something "while driving" on that side.

Have you perhaps performed the corresponding actions for the right side that you forgot to do on the left side?

There's a measurement for the steering angle. Do you get the same values when reaching the end stop on both the left and right sides? If not, that might be where the problem lies. It's possible the car is actually correct in its assessment.
