Hello everyone,
Interesting phenomenon.
This morning, I got into my car and drove to work. As I was starting to drive, I noticed that the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) was likely in the process of regeneration (mine makes a rumbling noise when that happens).
After a few kilometers, I wanted to open the windows, but nothing happened; none of the windows would open. However, the lights on the buttons were still illuminated.
I initially thought, "No need to panic, maybe it's just a blown fuse."
So, I arrived at work, checked the fuse. Hmm, it looks good. So, I turned on the ignition and tried again, and lo and behold, it works.
Has anyone ever experienced this before? Or can anyone explain it?
The error memory was/is empty.
All software sucks...
Greetings.

Did you perhaps try restarting it beforehand, or turning it off and on again?
I've already experienced some funny effects with these actions.
- The Vectra B's air conditioning system stopped working after being turned off, but then started working again with the next engine start.
- After a "start, immediately shut off, then restart" sequence, the Golf 5 had an abnormally high idle speed.
- etc.

... there was another T.
I don't know what the f*ck it was.

No, it was started and driven (40 km).
As I mentioned, I noticed that it started regenerating immediately. It might be related to that. The control program immediately enters the "regeneration loop," possibly because some of the parameters being passed aren't correct, and that's causing a problem.
I'm only interested in knowing whether this phenomenon is known.
Merci and greetings.
