The engine is very loud at RPMs above 3800.

Hello everyone.

Yesterday, I noticed again that my car becomes very loud and rough when driving above 180 km/h.
I've tried it in other gears now and noticed that the engine doesn't quite run as smoothly above 3800 RPM.

Could it be related to the pump setting? I also have a slight [problem/issue]!! Starting problems.
I can't say for sure if I can reach my top speed, as I only have a speedometer that goes up to 200 km/h (1Z engine), and also the transmission from the 1Z. The speedometer is definitely showing a lower reading right now. That should be enough!

I converted my Golf 3 from a 1Z engine to an AFN engine. The engine now has approximately 60,000 km (37,000 miles) and there are no error codes. According to the display, the turbocharger pressure is also correct.
