Hello,
I have a problem with my ZMS (MKB: ASV + GKB: EGS) that is rattling.
Now I would like to know if a 240 ZMS with clutch will fit in my car. Would otherwise convert to 228er EMS.
I have 0.216' nozzles + tuning and had to reduce the performance in the low range (up to 2000 RPM) due to the surging.
If the 240mm ZMS doesn't fit and I were to convert to a 228mm EMS, would that be harmful to the gearbox (input shaft + bearings), or can it handle it?
I know that the EMS isn't as comfortable, but I've already had a 35 i 1Z and I didn't find it significantly worse.
I would be very grateful for appropriate responses!!! |

...The 240mm coupling doesn't fit in your gearbox housing. |

Thanks for the responses.
So, in this case, the 240 series clutch has failed.
What if I then reverted back to the 228 EMS?
@Ministry of Health
Do you know how much the Valeo set costs and how much torque it can handle? |

Unfortunately, I just found out yesterday that Valeo offers something like that by chance.
@Section Exam
For you, it should actually not be a problem to figure this out. 3B5 AJM

Valeo News:
The 228 transmits up to 305 NM and is also installed in the 1.8 Turbo engine, and it functions without or with minimal vibration damping losses at speeds of approximately 1900 1/min when used with the EMS. So far, there have been no negative feedback from the sales department. Available immediately.
If it becomes worn, I also have the spare part number for the kit without SM, which is a special order number. Gruß, der Teileklaus

So könnte man also das Valeo-Kit auch mit einem 228er EMS (G60, VR6 oder 1Z) kombinieren und es dann in meinem ASV einbauen?
If so, what is the cost of the kit without the SM? |

If it's a problematic item, take the whole thing, that way you'll know it's also safe!
Edit: Only the clutch kit without SM = 352.-€ minus 40% including. VAT plus shipping Gruß, der Teileklaus

I would be interested in the clutch kit without the flywheel, as I have already installed a 1Z flywheel.
Can you find out if the crankshaft/friction disc can be combined with an original VW 1Z crankshaft?
Thank you and best regards.

Uuuuhhhhh, what am I reading with my old and watery eyes???
...why haven't I known about this before? Because I am ignorant, okay, I know
FINALLY, a decent alternative solution for all ZMS sufferers (=-healed? *g*) - like me *meld*
@ KlausiMausi, what would the "Premium Kit" from Valeo cost for my T5 from 2003 (MKB: AXC = 1.9 PD-TDi, 63kW+chip & GKB: FJJ = 5-speed manual) and is it even available for this (rare...) model??!
The Valeo homepage, including the "Online Parts Catalog" (…why am I even thinking of ATE? *laugh*) is very vague. The US page is more active, but if you have an engine with less than 5.7 liters, you might have trouble there
I'd be happy to provide you with the exact data via private message if it looks promising for delivery purposes.
Thank you in advance and greetings from Munich! 1. S.verlängerung: Audi A4 Avant quattro, 1,9 TDi MKB: AFN, BJ98, Vollausstattung, +VP1L
2. Moped BMW K1200RS, 130 PS, BJ98, Vollausst.
3. T5 1,9 TDI PD (AXC), BJ04 - nur Ärger! |

Just take it slow with the nicknames, there's also a user named Klausi!
I'm not the Sachs expert here, and I'm not sure if it's compatible with the 1Z crankshaft.
The above-mentioned specific application with the specified number is not suitable for all PD motors.
For my T5, I found a Sachs with 228 mm / 3000970017 and also a LUK with 230 mm (SAC? ), which can be installed optionally, but together with a different flywheel.
Then under LUK there is also a 230 mm SAC 623308200, it could also be that this is just another (LUK) number for the same SAC clutch. Gruß, der Teileklaus
