Hello,
Is it possible to deactivate individual cylinders in a 1.9 PD engine with the model code BLS and 105 horsepower?
I work with NFZ (presumably a company or product) that uses the Star system. We can use the Star diagnostic system to individually disable cylinders until the engine misfires and shuts off.
To determine if there are any issues with a specific component, it would be interesting to disable them one by one. The immediate difference observed could indicate where the problem lies.

No, that's not something that can be done with VW vehicles. It can only be achieved by modifying the hardware. MfG. Michael

Essentially, the software is designed to perform a type of compression test by measuring torque. At VW, this function was not used or activated, but it can be accessed via a diagnostic tool by other manufacturers. selber schrauben - statt Werkstattpfusch
