Long Life Service: Your Car's Extended Warranty

Hi,

My Golf IV is due for another service again – the service indicator has been nagging me for quite some time now. I always have it done at the workshop.

I've repeatedly read that it's possible to accidentally or unintentionally set a "longlife" vehicle (like mine) to a non-longlife interval. After the service appointment, can I use VCDS to check if the workshop correctly reset this setting?

K43 = 30 (-> 30,000 km until next oil change).
K44 = 720 (-> 720 days until next oil change)
K45 = 2 (-> Oil quality code)

...and are things set up exactly like that?

Well, if you happen to be there, it might be okay. But if you don't even know where you need to go in the first place, and then you have four options to choose from, and each of those options...
