Hello fellow mechanics!
I read in this forum that for vehicles without a Waste Oil Injection (WOI) system, the oil level sensor is deactivated.
During my last oil change, I tested something: I turned on the ignition with an empty oil pan, and there was no oil level warning.
Now I wonder what the point is of enabling or disabling a sensor that undoubtedly exists and is very useful, depending on fixed or flexible maintenance intervals.
Is there a way to use the sensor even with a fixed interval?
Please explain it to me!
Sure, here's the translation:
"Thank you very much in advance!" Grüße!
