Error 01130 ABS operation on Audi S3

Hello,

My diagnostic scan on my Audi S3 (8L), manufactured in 2001, indicates an implausible signal in the ABS system, error code 01130.

After unplugging the connector and plugging it back in, the error unfortunately persists, even after clearing the error codes. Although the error is no longer detected, the warning light remains on.

I had this problem once before, about a year ago, and pulling out the plug helped.

Electrical disturbances caused by external interference sources (high-frequency radiation).

Interruption, short circuit to positive or ground in the wiring.
ABS control unit J104 is defective.


Does anyone have any ideas about what else I could try or test here, or is it really the control unit that's broken this time?
Can the control unit be replaced individually, or does the entire ABS unit, which the control unit is attached to, need to be replaced?

Occasionally, the ABS connector can become corroded. Another common issue in the 8L model is the fuse box located directly on the battery. It causes intermittent connections or resolves them with the most unlikely errors.

As I said, I already removed the plug and checked it, and it looks perfect.
I also checked the fuse box, but it looks brand new, in perfect condition.
Hmm..., so it seems that the control unit is indeed broken .

Does anyone else have any ideas about what else I could do or check?
