Log File Idle State: Full Reproduction Now Available.

Hello,

I tried to log the idle speed control (where all 10 cylinders are between -0.8 and +0.8 mg/H ) on my Touareg (V10).

Control unit cluster 31 was selected (due to the 2 control units), and measurement blocks 13/14 were logged for approximately 1 minute each.

"It obviously worked well, however, when I try to view these files with KDataScope, the playback always stops around 16-18 seconds."

Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Attached are the two log files from the Touareg!

Perhaps someone could check the files for any abnormalities and confirm or correct my amateur assessment that, overall, the little engine seems to be in not bad condition.

The values in the files are generally okay, so I don't see any immediate danger to the engine regarding this issue.

Each log file contains 2 logs (sequentially), and KDataScope displays the first one.

A possible improvement would be to include a selection field in the file information section that allows the user to choose which log file they would like to view.

Generally, it is more sensible to use only one log file per file, for example, to group by engines and functions. Therefore, the file name cannot be chosen arbitrarily without a good reason.
