Hello,
Now it has caught us too; our AFN is no longer

.
The following happens:
At approximately 50 km/h, the engine suddenly cut out without any warning. It was no longer possible to start it, and there was a clicking sound coming from somewhere.
ADAC's initial assumption was that it was a ZR (a type of engine component), and he checked immediately, but found nothing; it's stuck and looks great... So, the car was towed away.
I first removed the valve cover and, sure enough, three hydraulic lifters had dissolved and their debris was scattered everywhere. So, I took the head off...
The engine wouldn't turn over to the top dead center (TDC) position; something seemed to be jammed. It would crank with the starter motor, but it wouldn't move freely when I tried to force it.
The timing belt was properly installed and tensioned, the crankshaft pulley bolt is tight, and so is the water pump pulley bolt.
After removing the cylinder head, it was evident that all the valves had made contact with the pistons, and the camshaft sprocket appeared to have spun forcefully on the camshaft (possibly due to the camshaft being blocked by a faulty hydraulic lifter? I can't imagine any other explanation).
But what do I do now?
Would it be too bold to simply create a completely new head from scratch?
Should all the pistons be replaced along with the connecting rods and bearings?
Here are a few pictures to illustrate

.
Sure, no problem! Here's the translation:
"Thank you very much in advance!"
Phil.
