Hello forum, I was at VW today for an update regarding the emissions scandal on my Touran 1.6 TDI. I created a log file and saved it to my laptop. When I click on the log file (which is a CSV file), it shows "shop.dieselschrauber.de" and asks me to enter my email and password. I think I'm doing something wrong, because then it just shows an error.
"KDatascope - Unable to connect to the diesel engine server or customer account."
"Invalid login credentials." What am I doing wrong?
How do I find out the password?
I would be grateful for any help. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Wolfgang,
The username and password are the same as those used for your customer account in the shop. Please pay attention to capitalization, as it is important.
KDataScope remembers the activation and can then be used offline for several weeks. With the RKS+CAN CAN interface, this is unnecessary, as it functions as a dongle.
Unfortunately, it was necessary because a large number of people downloaded and used KDataScope without purchasing a license (even for external clients, as indicated in the shop).
Best regards, Rainer.
