TDI 125kW: SCR System - Yes or No?

Hi.

Which 125kW CR TDIs have SCR catalytic converters, and why?

I don't believe the Golf or Passat have it, but the Sharan does.

Does the Sharan produce so many emissions due to its aerodynamic drag that it can only meet EURO5 standards with the help of SCR technology?

Both 2L TDI engines, with 103 and 125 kW, in the 7N model have the AdBlue system. The 17-liter urea tank is designed to last approximately 10,000-15,000 km. The advantage of the SCR catalyst is that the engine can be designed for high combustion temperatures with a lot of NOx, which leads to high efficiency.
Most likely, VW wants to test the system first in a mid-volume segment.
Registration numbers for the Sharan in Germany were approximately 21,500 in 2011.

I ordered a 7N, and hopefully it will arrive this month.

I can confirm that with a power output of 103 kW.
My company car, a Passat Variant B7 manufactured in December 2011, did not have an SCR catalytic converter.
The colleague's Sharan, with registration number EZ:11/2011, had SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction).
Both come with a 6-speed DSG transmission and BlueMotion technology.

Never, you probably mean BlueMotion Technology.

The 125kW Alhambra has AdBlue, because a friend of mine was completely surprised that he had to top it up.

Well, the BlueTDI engine in the Passat has been around for quite a while... but I guess nobody bought it.
