Audi A4 TDI: Recurring PD Cable Issues in Germany

"In the spring of this year, I replaced all four pump-nozzle injectors on my A4 (118,000 km) with the new version from Conti, indicated by the 'T' at the end of the part number. The glow plugs were also replaced. After that, the car ran great again, except for a slight hesitation between 1600 and 2100 RPM in gears 4 through 6. At the time, I suspected it was the PD wiring harness, especially since the error memory was clear. I replaced it, and everything worked perfectly."

"For about 4 weeks now, I've been experiencing the same problem again. It's probably due to temperatures below 0°C. If the car stands for a longer period, like overnight, it doesn't start properly in the morning. It cranks for about 3-5 seconds before it finally starts. For about a week now, I've also been experiencing the same stuttering issue at the same RPM range that I described earlier. The error memory is empty again. Only the idle trim values are slightly different for cylinders 1 and 3 compared to the other two: -1.5mg/stroke versus -0.5mg/stroke."
Therefore, I'm going back to the wiring harness. It was always an original Audi wiring harness, costing around 80 euros. It can't be right that this keeps having contact problems whenever the temperatures drop significantly.

Is there perhaps an alternative wiring harness available from third-party manufacturers?
