Hi.
What is 3C0129621?
There must be some kind of "diffuser" in the intake system, which wasn't available until 2009.
What's the point?

This is a type of mesh grille. It is installed on vehicles with less powerful engines.
It could almost look like a thrush. Or like a splash guard .

During the Golf 4 era, this feature was included in the Scandinavian version.

During the Golf 4 era, something like that was installed in the Scandinavian version.
Yuppi, I think it's also listed for exports.

Does it go in the front grille/crossmember?

It was located below the filter on the golf car, supposedly as a snow shield. On industrial engines, it's probably to prevent foreign objects from being sucked in... what are you up to, Martin?

Beneath the filter, I also have this grid.
This is part number 3C0 129 668.
Snow protection is a non-woven fabric glued onto the paper filter - so it's a different type of non-woven fabric.
The part number 3C0 129 621 mentioned here is something else.
I'm only interested in what it is.
Because based on the drawing, it looks like it's going to fit into the castle wall.
But why do industrial engines need an air intake manifold to draw in air?
This part has only been available since 2009.
And in parallel with that, the "Heul-TPI" system allowed for the generation of howling noises specifically in the front section of the castle structure.
Do they have anything to do with each other?
On the other hand, there's also a 1K0 129 621 H part number for the 1.2 and 1.4 TSI engines in the Golf... and those didn't make that much noise. Transparency, Teamwork
... there was another T.
I don't know what the f*ck it was.
