VW Touareg: Won't Start After Water Pump Failure?

habe folgendes Problem. Der Touareg (bj. 2007, CASA Motor) eines Freundes ist mit einem Hochdruckpumpenschaden liegengeblieben (Späne in der Pumpe). Also, alles raus, alle kraftstoffführenden Teile ausgebaut gereinigt, durchgeblasen, gebrauchte Hochdruckpumpe rein, gebrauchte Injektoren rein (Quertausch von anderen Fahrzeug), Lernwerte gelöscht, Systemn entlüftet und dann versucht zu starten, zwei Batterien verbraucht! Das Teil will einfach nicht anspringen, Diesel kommt aber an den Düsen an! Raildruck ist nach einigen Sekunden orgeln bei ca. 300 bar, soweit passt alles. Fehlerspeicher ist bis auf einen Fehler zum AGR-Ventil leer. HDo you have any ideas?

Yes, quantity reconciliation was also performed!

Please upload a scan. Also, include the part numbers for the injectors and double-check to make sure those numbers are correct.

Where should the rail pressure minimum be? If I had to guess, it's probably around 330-350 bar. But I can't say for sure.

Something else that comes to mind is that the injectors have a common valve on the return line, which maintains a pressure of 10 bar to provide the hydraulic cushion within the injector. If this valve is defective, could that explain the malfunction?"

059130277AR = 059130277BE and should be compatible with CASA.

One would need to check at what minimum pressure the launch is authorized. But if it doesn't engage 'promptly,' something is wrong.

A scan would certainly help to check. It should be able to withstand pressure, but I think you can see that in the product specifications.

Most of them have a starting pressure release around 280 bar.

I will send you the scan later. What I've noticed is that the pressure in the rail drops back to near zero quite quickly when the injectors stop firing. Is there a check valve in the high-pressure pump?
