Resetting the service interval on an Audi A3 8P

Today I worked on an A3 model year 2010 with a speedometer that had white LEDs. I was unable to reset the service interval reminder (SIA) using VCDS. Longlife.

Is there a solution for this? Or can that currently only be done by the ?

Okay, regarding my A3 8PA... it's most likely a case of misuse due to the user's unusual procedure.

"Bending" via the assistant:
1. Switch to flexible interval.
2. Flexible service reset.

Then, a long list appeared, and I selected "Service Reset - Longlife (Rest of the World)."

The adaptation channels were rewritten, and it also indicated that the service had been reset, but the "service due" light continued to illuminate.

Normally, it is sufficient to select the correct entry for the service reset using VCDS-RKS, i.e., for a standard diesel model for the EU, select "Flexible Oil Service Reset (Longlife/Rest of World/Diesel)".

If the settings might be incorrect, first perform the "Change to flexible Intervals (Longlife/Diesel)" option.

Here as well, it can be seen that the time since the last inspection and the mileage since the last inspection have not been reset.
Success would have been achieved, for example, by performing the "Mileage-based Service Reset (Rest of World)" and "Time-based Service Reset (Rest of World & Great Britain)" procedures.
