Airbag control unit

Hello everyone.

Since the control unit in my Polo 6N2 Gti was damaged when the error memory was cleared, a new one has now been installed by the dealer.
The problem now is that they are unable to get it to compile. I watched them today and I'm not sure if they are making a mistake.
Do you need to enter a login code and then proceed with the coding process to reprogram the control unit? Or is just going to a coding session enough?
