Hello professionals!
"Does anyone know how to adjust the zero point of the electric sunroof on an Audi A3? At higher outside temperatures, my sunroof doesn't close completely. There's no leak causing water ingress or anything like that, but it doesn't close tightly enough that the seal doesn't have enough tension." This results in increased wind noise at higher driving speeds, and sometimes a slight pulling sensation can be felt.
The sunroof is operated via a rotary switch located on the headliner, which allows the user to select the desired position.
I suspect that there has been a slight zero-point drift in the position control system over the years, which would need to be corrected. That's my assumption. Now it's time for the professionals, those who have practical experience.
How can the default position (i.e., sunroof closed) be recalibrated?
Thank you very much.
