Hello,
I want to replace the turbocharger on a 1.5L dCi (Renault) engine. (The shaft has some play, it's producing white/blue smoke, and there are grinding noises from 2300 RPM.)
The cause, in my opinion, is a lack of maintenance (e.g., the air filter and very old oil).
What else should I replace? I'll take a look at the oil lines and try to verschandeln them.
Replace charge air hoses/coolers when replacing wood chips?
Should I perform an oil flush using cheap oil?
Best regards,
