A4 B6 1.8T BFB Fuel Pump

Evening.

I removed and disassembled the pump inside the tank, as mentioned in the A4 document.
The pump itself is from VDO, but unfortunately, I can't find it individually on the open market.
8E0919051L is the part number for the entire unit.

"Does anyone know where I can find VDO parts, or can someone tell me which pumps from other manufacturers (like Pierburg, etc.) I can use as a replacement?"
Boost pressure: 4 bar, 12V.

VDO wurde in 1991 an Mannesmann verkauft. Mannesmann wurde in 2001 bekanntlich an Vodafone "verkauft". Da Vodafone vom Mannesmann Konzern nur den Mobilfunk haben wollte, wurde der Konzern zerlegt. Die VDO ging über den Umweg ATECS an Siemens und später an Continental, welche dann auch noch von der Schäffler Gruppe per Aktienmehrheit aufgekauft wurde .....
Since 2008/2009, the brand name VDO has been gradually disappearing.

da werd ich wohl auch keinen Erfolg haben die VDO Nummer umzuschlüsseln.
The Pierburg 7.02550.63 might fit, and it would cost me 75€. I might try that.

You can't open the new unit to see what's installed, Steffen?

I received the Pierburg part today and it fits perfectly. The vehicle is running normally again!
