Hello,
I need your help again.
My T5, manufactured in 2005, with VIN AXB and 278,000 km, unfortunately has a problem with cold starts.
If the car has been parked overnight, and when I start it, it starts immediately but then diesels after 1 second. Then I play the organ for 10 - 20 seconds and it starts "hesitantly".
The error only occurred sporadically (3 times per year) until last week.
Now every morning. But only after >10 hours of standby time.
Whether the STHZ has been used before or not has no influence.
"New light bulbs are unnecessary, as the system should already be working."
The fuel pump is audible when the engine starts.
NW-Sensor is new; I had a warm-up problem about 1 year ago.
DiFi is new.
Tank venting OK.
Temperature values in the MSG seem plausible.
WFS shares the same error pattern, but then it shouldn't even start up or it wouldn't be temperature-dependent, or?
Does "air in the system" fit the error picture?
Are there any "usual suspects" when it comes to AXB?
Thank you for your help.

[Translating...]

Habe bisher keins gesehen.

[Translating...]

[Translating...]

[Translating...]
btw:
Der G4 hatte solche Schnellkupplungen an der Tankgeber-Pumpen-Einheit |

[Translating...] Also heute morgen gab's keine Probleme.

Subject: T5 AXB Cold Start Problem
Hi Team,
We're experiencing a cold start problem with our T5 AXB units.
Specifically, the units are exhibiting [PROBLEM DESCRIPTION] after being idle for [DURATION].
This issue seems to be related to [POSSIBLE CAUSE 1] and/or [POSSIBLE CAUSE 2].
We've already tried [TROUBLESHOOTING STEP 1] and [TROUBLESHOOTING STEP 2], but the problem persists.
Could someone please investigate this further?
Thanks,

Hello,
Yes, provided he gets enough juice and no critical sensor is malfunctioning: PDE leaking or integrated into the head!
If it's not too advanced, new sealing (conditional) is recommended; otherwise, a new head is needed!
To install/remove, you will need a variety of specialized tools as the helical gear drive must be pre-tensioned!

[Translating...]

[Translating...] So, kurzer Abschlussbericht.
