Failure with Bora AJM

I recently had a problem with a Bora model year `99`.
Engine code: AJM.
The engine was turning over normally when starting, but it wouldn't start!
Next, we will replace the power supply relay (109).
No success!
By the way, the control panel was dark, and nothing was working at all!
The fuses in the engine compartment were all fine. Also, no errors could be detected using the diagnostic tool. After about half an hour of troubleshooting, the vehicle started again, and everything was working properly.
Error in the control unit? But why isn't the control panel working???

Perhaps water leaked in somewhere and caused a short circuit or something similar.
I once had several mysterious electrical problems because water was leaking into the interior through the A-pillar on the passenger side.
VW wanted to replace the comfort control unit's electrical components for about 300 euros, but replacing a door seal also solved the problem .

I think there was no voltage at terminal 15 (ignition). That explains the dead instruments and why the engine wouldn't start.

--> Loose connection in the ignition switch, or along the cable route to the engine control unit/instrument panel, etc.
