Hello,
I own a GTI TDI (with an AFN engine, manufactured in 1996, with 127,000 km on the odometer) and I would...
I'd like to try this type of tuning sometime.
Unfortunately, I don't quite understand how the potentiometer should be connected.
'The connection must be made between pins 2 and 3 on the injector pump side, and the switch must be logically connected.'
Sure, here's the translation:
'It would be really great if someone could translate this for me into simple language.'
What should one pay attention to during installation, and can anything break during the process?
I also occasionally experience the problem of the airflow being around 2400-2500.
It briefly drops below the minimum value but then recovers.
Thank you very much.
Mark.

Hi.
This will be connected between cable 2 and cable 3 of the pump cable assembly.
It doesn't really matter where you install it (before or after the pump connector). Theoretically, you could also install it inside the pump or in the motor controller, where cables 2 and 3 originate or terminate.
Both cables will not be interrupted during the process, but of course, the insulation must be opened.
For those who want to keep the wiring harnesses intact initially: -->
Okay, I'm ready. Please provide the German text you want me to translate. Gruß Ulf
