Hello!
Yesterday evening, I finally got the documents from Erwin. However, I have another question about them. I essentially bought a one-year subscription. This year, I will receive any updates (if there are any) free of charge.
How does it work at the end of the year? Will I receive a notification that I can cancel the subscription renewal, or do I need to remember to do it myself?
And what about the .spdf files? Can I still open the files that have been downloaded to my computer up to that point, or do they become inaccessible after 365 days if I don't want to renew the subscription?

Thank you for sharing your experiences!

If you don't do anything, you won't be able to open the files after a year...

You won't be able to open them again after that...

'Quote from Erwin:'
'You pay once and can then repeatedly use the subscribed document. You always receive the latest version. Due to the online access, the data is always up-to-date. A subscription lasts for one year and can be extended for another year, unless a written cancellation is received three months before the expiration date for the respective document.'

Quite convolutedly worded! icon_evil.gif
So, that means I have to cancel my document(s) in writing, otherwise I will have to pay for the documents again?

Hi Diesel.Gustav,

ich habe gestern noch nachgefragt. Here is the answer:

'Hello,

Yes, that is correct. They are always purchased in conjunction with a one-year subscription. If you do not cancel the subscription via email or fax, it will automatically renew for another year. You will then also have to pay the price for the documents again.

Regards,

Okay, so I'm quitting! I don't think much will change with engines that are sometimes 10 years old icon_lol.gif, (but don't forget to print things out beforehand... icon_idea.gif).

I also cancelled mine yesterday via email. It was really easy. I received confirmation of the cancellation today... Everything went smoothly.
