Error = Radiator fan control.

When the car is unlocked and a door is opened, the radiator fan immediately starts.

Does anyone have any ideas? The cables seem to be okay so far.

I have no idea if this is the same for the Caddy... In the A6 4F, the radiator fan control units often fail due to corrosion inside or on the control unit itself. The effect is the same; the fan runs continuously. You could try running an actuator diagnostic test; in the A6, it's possible to control the fans individually.

Okay, that's different for the Caddy; it's controlled directly via the engine control unit.
Unfortunately, none of the companies that specialize in repairing electronic control units are able to fix this.
