Error code P246E describes an error at the exhaust gas temperature sensor, position 4 (at the end of the DPF towards the middle muffler), of cylinder bank 1. Possible causes: - Defective or burnt-out temperature sensor - Faulty or interrupted electrical connections to the temperature sensor Check the sensor readings for plausibility. Dipl.-Ing.
