Passat 3 BG 1.6 electric radiator fan

Hi,

"On our 3 BG unit, both the secondary air pump and the radiator fan were defective. I measured the system, replaced the fan, but now it runs constantly on level 2, which is quite noisy. I also only measured 14V immediately after turning on the air conditioning."

When the air conditioning is turned on, it should run slowly, just like the first stage of the water temperature sensor.

Since I always have to borrow a workspace and the current temperatures aren't exactly conducive to working on things, should I order and replace the pre-resistor now, or can I measure something from the top to see if there's an attempt to switch to stage 1?

Checked the thermostat in the radiator?
