MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER II (CW_W), 2179 cm3, 156 hp, 115 kW, Production Year: 08/07 to 11/12, Type Approval Number: 7107-ACH.

Hello, I have read the following data from this vehicle:
Can anyone give me a tip?
Thank you for your help.

I already replaced the glow plugs today, cleared the error code, and the error is still gone, but it still shows up on the vehicle's display. Why is that?
Or better yet, how do I get rid of it???

Hello,

Quote:
Powertrain Problem MFG - Manufacturer-specific, ignition system failure or misfire(s)

Is there absolutely nothing left in the error memory? Of the engine control unit?
There might be another error stored in the engine control unit that is not related to the OBD2 system.

Is the engine running smoothly?

This would only be useful for checking the CVN (Calibration Verification Number) or the software version of the engine control unit, and not for your specific application.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello,
And first of all, sorry for the late reply.

Thank you very much for your reply.
There were no further errors stored in the engine control unit.

Regarding the vehicle's issue:
After that, I took it for a test drive, and then there was a loud bang, and it stopped working.

I am in the process of analyzing it. Once I have identified the problem and the error, I will continue writing here.

Best regards, Kay.

Typical issues include a slipped or burst turbocharger boost hose, or a burst intercooler.

If no visible damage is apparent and no clamps are too loose/were too loose, observe the boost pressure regulation. icon_idea.gif

Hello,
I'd like to clarify what the mistake was.
The diesel particulate filter was full, which caused this error message.
Sorry for the late reply.

Best regards, Kay.

It shouldn't "explode" there, but thank you for the feedback regarding the error message! icon_smile.gif
