OBD2 Diagnostic Kit: Troubleshooting Guide

Hello everyone,

I recently bought an OBD2 diagnostic kit.

I installed the drivers even before I connected the adapter.
However, I'm no longer sure if I entered the correct login credentials when I first started the software.
"Definitely, I can't read any vehicle data with KOBD2CHECK."
The software indicates in the bottom right corner that the connection to the adapter is okay, but I'm not receiving any data.
Could this error be caused by incorrect login credentials, and if so, how can I correct them?
Uninstalling and then reinstalling did not improve the situation.

I hope someone can help me.

No. If the data were incorrect and an internet connection exists, the program will automatically prompt for the information again.
The login credentials are only required in KOBD2Check so that the program can synchronize engine control unit data with the Dieselschrauber server in order to display information about CVN (Customer Vehicle Number) and software version.

Could you tell us which vehicles you have tested?

Thank you for your reply, and sorry for my late response.
The vehicle I was trying to read data from was a Nissan Micra, model year 2008.

Unfortunately, I can no longer take a Screenshot because the car is no longer available.
I have just discovered that the same error message appears if the OBD cable is not connected to the vehicle, or if the connector is not fully inserted.
The adapter was successfully tested today on a Golf 6, and everything worked perfectly.
