Haldex Failure: Tiger Problems & Fixes

Probably the pre-charge pump is broken; it's a known issue, one of many with the "Haldex all-wheel drive" system.

Changing the pump, oil, and filter should resolve the issue.

Pay close attention to cleanliness while working.

Sometimes, as a last resort, it can help to directly connect 12V to the two wires leading to the priming pump (and maybe even tap them lightly).

Hallo... Ist ja klar das diese früher kaputt wird - steht ja fast ständig unter Druck! VW wechselt nur das Öl - Filter kennen sie ja nicht. Und das beim Pumpeneinlaß ein Sieb ist weiß ja auch niemand. Dieses wäre halt auch mal zum Reinigen. Bei meinem Kollegen war dazu noch Ventil N373 ? kaputt und das Stg . stand unter Wasser.
