Golf 4: Recode Brake Electronics for Lift Kit.

After I lifted my Golf4 sedan 4Motion 1.9 TDI, 90 hp, with AGR seats, manufactured in 2000, I started experiencing problems with the ESP system.
As reported in other forums, the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) can sometimes activate in extreme left-hand turns on the Volkswagen Golf 4.

It was recommended that the brake electronics be adjusted to match the lift kit, i.e., re-programmed.

No other modifications; wheels are standard (205/55R16, all the same, including tread depth).

VCDS does not provide any suggestions when attempting to recode.

Recoding of the ESP/ABS system is a sensitive matter from a safety perspective. I would suggest searching on Google for vehicles with your specific VAG part number and comparing the coding information.

In case of emergency, a visit to the might help.

Yes, there are very few parts left that were originally installed in the Golf 4 4Motion.
Regarding , I find it difficult... It's been decades since I was there, and my knowledge is only tangential, having only seen the results of what goes on there.
Ross Tech inquiry: initial response, then silence. I thought something similar to the support for MK60 might be coming.
I'll probably have to recalibrate everything and then figure something out... It's my winter car; thankfully, my 124 doesn't have anything like that.
