VCID Meaning: Explained in ECU Log Files

I would like to know what the abbreviation VCID stands for.

The listing at address 01 for the motor electronics looks like this:

What does this VCID mean?
Could it possibly be called "Version Code Identification"?

Who can enlighten me?

The reason I'm asking is as follows:
The Audi A6 was purchased in 2015.
In early 2017, he took his car to Audi for an inspection.
In early 2018, I wanted to postpone the "service," which was still possible in 2016.

The VCID is only used for debugging the diagnostic program and does not originate from the control unit.
