Can someone tell me if the chips in the engine control unit (ECU) of the 1Z model are socketed or soldered?
Is there no standardized assembly process?
Just wanted to get this information in advance, before I attempt to take it apart!

In the 021AF model, the chips are very likely soldered directly to the board (at least, that was the case in the two I disassembled).
