Measurement Blocks: Grey Color Options

"On the Golf VII, error codes and other data can be accessed, but not measurement blocks. The button is grayed out and, of course, cannot be clicked. Older vehicles also had problems accessing the control units."

What am I doing wrong?

"The control units (ECUs) in newer vehicles typically no longer have measurement value blocks; they only offer extended measurement values. You can configure sentences containing up to 13 individual values yourself. In the case of the Golf 7 (and other models), it's also worth noting that not all ECUs and functions are accessible with the HEX-USB+CAN interface."

I have the HEX V2. I'll check later to see if I can access the extended measurement data.

I also tried to read the mileage data from the engine control unit, but unfortunately it didn't work; I got an error message.
