Hello,

After the vehicle change (from Sharan CFFB to Sharan DFLA), the DPF regenerations occur approximately twice as often (about every 100 km). The driving profile has remained the same (short trips in the city), but the CFFB regenerated every 250-300 km. Is there a good way to systematically investigate whether something is wrong?

Vehicle specifications: Mileage approximately 98,000 km, turbocharger boost pressure normal during test drive, DPF oil ash mass 30.2 g (loading limit 80 g), differential pressure sensor reading 0 hPa when ignition is turned on and the engine is off.

Jetzt habe ich noch für LMM Logfahrt gemacht, die Ergebnisse hier. Ist da was auffällig? Is that normal?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Hello,

If the regenerative braking is significantly higher now, with the same driving profile and car, it's possible that the new engine is producing more soot.

DPFs are likely to accumulate less ash in a new car. Therefore, I would check if the intercooler and charge air cooler are sealed and that there is no combustion air leakage (oil stains).
Also, let's also check if the AGR cooler and pipes are sealed and that there are no leaks (soot).

If there are no visible leaks, I would continue to monitor the situation for now.

Best regards, Rainer.
