Diagnosis

First, briefly and concisely.
My name is Marek, but unfortunately, I only completed my automotive mechanic apprenticeship in 1999. After that, I unfortunately didn't work as a mechanic anymore. Additionally, older diesel engines without diagnostic software have been observed.
I own a VW Caddy, manufactured in 2003, with engine code AYQ, and it has some minor issues.
I'm reading that the question about whether VCDS has been used to read data is being asked repeatedly in this forum. What you can also purchase here.
And now, to my question, what do I need?
VCDS-HEX-V2 for 279 Euro is that the right one for my Caddy?
