Can you use an EDiTH Eberspächer with a VCDS HEX-V2 K-Line?

Hello everyone.

I would like to be able to read data from an Eberspächer Airtronic air heater installed in a camper van via the K-Line interface. Is that possible with the HEX-V2?

To the best of my knowledge, it is not available due to the lack of a corresponding driver. It would have worked with the HEX-USB+CAN.

I would get an interface with KKL (K-Line communication) that connects via serial. If it uses an FTDI chipset, the "latency setting" might be helpful, but it's probably not strictly necessary.

Yes, there's a driver available for download in the customer account, and in the VCDS program settings, you can switch to KKL (I don't remember the exact name, something like "dummy interface" or similar).

If you need it frequently, it's better to get your own KKL (Key Cutting Machine).
