Hi.
The 2.0 version also gave me a lot of trouble, mainly due to problematic values for parameters R 8 through R 11.
Okay, replace all of them with 1kΩ resistors, and possibly also increase the value of resistor R6 to something larger.
My adapter works stably with a 3.3 kΩ resistor for R6; the specified 2.2 kΩ resistor caused intermittent problems while the engine was running.
By the way, the adapter section on Rainer's website has been updated again

.
The K-Line signal typically has a high level of around 10 volts or higher, and I don't know the low level. According to the definition (standard), values above approximately 7.5 volts should be recognized as high, and values below approximately 4.5 volts should be recognized as low.
I'm not sure about the L-Line; it seems my car only has a remnant of an L-cable.
