Hi,
Besides the fact that when changing gears, one should make sure that...
Make sure the gearbox fits correctly onto the engine mounts and gearbox supports!
2. The flanges for the drive shafts must match the hole pattern/diameter!
3. The drive shafts must be the correct length.
4. The teeth of the input shaft mesh correctly!
...wouldn't replacing the gearbox solve your problem!
The characteristics of a different gear ratio.
should relate to the available performance and weight.
Make sure the part fits the vehicle!
Sachs-Performance also offers sport clutches with a diameter of 228mm, which are advertised to handle a maximum torque of 420Nm

.
That would have also taken care of the costs and effort involved in registering a different gearbox.
I suspect, however, that if the clutch slips under the immense torque

of the BLS, then the clutch is either worn out or contaminated with oil (e.g., from a leaking seal).
Best regards, Richard.
