Vehicle Data Recorders: Are They Being Phased Out?

Hello everyone,

ich bin etwas verblüfft, an den üblichen mit bekannten Orten ist das Etikett nicht mehr vorhanden. GI have checked/verified/tested.
- Flight manual
- under the rear seat bench.
- Spare tire well / area around it.

Is it really true that I have no more chance of finding out which brake pads I need – without having to manually measure and hope that everything fits?

I find it a bit sad.

What is the alternative here?
I haven't been around Volkswagen Group vehicles for too long; this issue doesn't really exist with BMW (or at least not in the same way).

Recently, someone brought in a 2019 Fabia, but it also didn't work.

It should actually be glued inside the owner's manual or in the spare tire compartment.
If not, have it printed out by the dealer.

I inquired with AMAG previously and I'm eager to hear back. I will let you know the result as soon as I have it.

Update:
AMAG failed to provide the vehicle data carrier, but they did include a printout from Elsaweb via email – which is something, at least.

It's a shame that you have to find out about it later.
