Hello, I have a HEX-NET interface.

Via USB to a Windows 11 computer (tested on two different PCs).

The problem I'm experiencing is that the connection keeps dropping. For example, with a Volkswagen Audi A4 B5 (using the K-line interface). And I'm seeing the same issue with two different cars.

Therefore, it is virtually impossible to pair a key with the WFS because it loses connection after only 5 to 20 seconds.
Unfortunately, adjusting the VP37 using a TDI graph is impossible because it always freezes after just a few seconds.
-> Data for block 000 not available <-

Before I bought the HEX-NET, I always borrowed an older VCDS USB from a friend. I never had any problems with that one...

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,

It's quite likely that HEX-NET is innocent, and instead the quartz crystals in the vintage cars are drifting out of alignment.
Over time, the bit rates used for communication with each control unit change, and eventually, the difference becomes too large, leading to transmission errors.

When you access a control unit using VCDS, the software displays the communication protocol in the control unit information section at the top left. The moment you enter the control unit information screen, the used bitrate should be displayed. What does it show there?

Edit: Does the HEX-NET have current firmware? Is the HEX-NET connection via Wi-Fi or USB?

Best regards, Rainer.
