Hello,
I have an A3 TDI (ASV) and I want to send my turbocharger in for repair. To do this, I need to remove and reinstall it. What is the best way to do this? What is the torque on the screws? Is there a lot of oil and coolant leaking from the lines? Is there a repair guide - I couldn't find a repair guide specifically for turbochargers when I checked with Erwin.
Best regards, Hüso |

Hi Hüso,
that is usually included in "motor mechanics". ____________

There are no coolant connections in this area. A few drops are leaking from the oil supply and return lines. ____________

It is for the 2000 model year.
As it sounds on the Audi website, you need to register first, and I'm not sure if I'll have to pay regularly. Does anyone perhaps have the repair manual and would like to sell it to me?
Best regards, Hüso |

Hi,
I know from my experience that a lifting platform is very useful, as it makes it much more difficult to disconnect and reconnect the lower oil line otherwise.
Actually, I didn't really get much oil coming out of the lines either.
Otherwise, I haven't encountered any particular difficulties.
Greetings
