Install water pump, but how?

Hi everyone!

I have a small problem, and it's that I've found out that the water pump is leaking, probably due to a worn bearing => I've bought a new water pump.
Okay, now I have one, but I'm not sure how to attach it properly. I just want to get some preliminary information to see if I need anything else, so I checked how it was originally installed, but I didn't document that.

The part that's giving me trouble looks like this:

There's a hose inside, but I don't know how to attach it. Can anyone help me?

Where is the pump, then??

Hehe, that's not the whole pump, there's also a seal in between, and the rest isn't really a problem either.

This is the side of the pump facing away from the belt.
