Oil in Coolant: Is it Normal?

Is what's described above normal, or does it not apply?
I have a 1Z diesel engine (TDI) in my Audi 80 Avant.
While changing the oil today, I noticed that the oil cooler was full of oil on one side. I then removed the hose and a little oil dripped out. The hose clamp wasn't very tight, which is probably why the oil was leaking.

Perhaps someone can explain this to me.

The turbocharger is oil-lubricated.

Just like the pistons in the engine, it lets a little bit "escape" outwards, into the air intake.
Since the LLK (likely referring to a liquid layer) is at its lowest point and has a relatively large surface area, it will probably remain there.

If there's no lake in it, you don't have to worry (I was told that, and I also have a 1Z).

I'm going to take a close look at the inside of my LLK to see what it looks like.

It's perfectly normal for there to be some oil in the intake manifold. However, if the intake manifold is oily on the outside, then there's likely a leak. It's important that the hose connections are airtight, otherwise the engine will run with too little air.
