Engine Failure: AFN Fuel Cut-Off Problem

Hello everyone.

I've already been searching, but I haven't found anything that's quite right for me.
I hope you can help me:

When I release the accelerator pedal in my car, it seems like the engine is about to stall.
'Then, when I accelerate again, there's a lot of smoke initially, and it doesn't respond to the throttle. After about 1-2 seconds, it seems to kick back in (?) and then it runs normally until I have to let off the gas completely again.'

"Grab your VAGCOM and log the measuring block 1 (including the injection quantity and the rail pressure), as it seems most likely to be a problem with the fuel pump."

In addition, please check the injection system (are there any bubbles in the transparent tubing? Is the filter clogged?).

Is the engine's performance within the normal range?

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, I can't provide you with VAG-Com today, but I might be able to borrow it tomorrow.

I checked the injection system, but everything seems normal; there are no air bubbles or anything like that.
I could still replace the fuel filter, but since I'm not experiencing any loss of power while driving, I'm going to rule it out for now. However, I'm open to being proven wrong.

I also have another problem, namely that it's very difficult, or even impossible, for the car to start when it's cold. And when it does eventually start, there's a cloud of smoke that I don't want to subject my neighbors to too often .
Warm, it starts without any problems, so I blamed the glow plugs, but I just replaced them, and it made no difference .

Perhaps it's all connected. I'm hoping for more suggestions.

When it comes to cold start problems, the first things that come to mind are the temperature sensor and the fuel injection timing. --> Use the search function with the keywords 'cold start problem*'.

Check the temperature values and timing using VAG-COM.
