I was at the mechanic's shop last week for a 120,000 km service. Timing belt replacement, and once again the mass airflow sensor is broken. (It needs to be replaced at least once a year, but it's always covered by warranty).
At first, everything was great. After the LMM (likely referring to a mass airflow sensor) was replaced, the performance was fully restored, and there were no other issues.
Yesterday, I was stuck in traffic. Every time I started moving (without much acceleration), the preheating indicator flashes briefly, for about 3-4 seconds. After that, everything is fine again. There are no noises or other unusual occurrences.
My question is, do I need to worry about this, or should I just ignore it?
Best regards from Lake Constance.
