Hello Diesel community,
I would like to have a chip installed in my 115 AJM G4 (20Tkm). The question that probably everyone of you has asked yourselves.
Which manufacturer?
Initially, I wanted to go with ***, but after struggling through the forum, I've decided against it.
Regarding MTM, I haven't read much.
Does anyone have experience with MTM?
I would be delighted to receive any contribution.
Best regards, Daniel |

So, I was with my AJM at Oettinger.
I can only report positive feedback so far.
The engine performs better from low speeds, and it also maintains power at 3000 rpm without a sudden drop.
Oettinger doesn't really get the most out of the engine.
It cost me 800 EUR in total, including. Vehicle Inspection/Registration.
Best regards

Hi,
Although I haven't personally used MTM yet, I've spoken to a few people who have had their cars modified there, and they were all very satisfied. (It even bordered on gushing. )

Hello everyone,
I have an *** chip installed.
Is an ASV, built in 1999, with an original engine of 110 PS / 235 Nm.
I am very satisfied.
The people at *** are very accommodating, technically proficient, and provide excellent technical support.
My vehicle runs very well, with a consistent and even power output between 1800 - 4400 RPM. The engine appears to have fewer vibrations, and the maximum speed is approximately 15 km/h higher.
With the same driving style, I have about 0.3 liters less fuel consumption.
Costs approximately 800 Euros with TÜV (German vehicle inspection) and warranty.
Overall, I would go back to ***.

How long is the warranty?

Hi Holger,
they offer 1 year or until LL (100,000 km) warranty on the engine and transmission.
Best, visit the website or call them!

Hello Daniel,
I had a 115hp Golf IV TDI with a Panne engine at Oettinger, and I'm satisfied with the 140hp version, which has been running for about 60,000 CHIPkm (total 90,000km). The response has improved significantly. It starts at around 1500rpm and has a really good boost from around 1800rpm until about 3500rpm, then it becomes a bit smoother. The use of the turbocharger is much smoother, unlike in the standard version, where there is nothing until around 1800 RPM, then a sudden burst of power.
Best regards,
Frank |

Hello guys,
Thank you for your numerous topics.
One hears only good things about the Oettinger. Unfortunately, it's too far away.
I'd estimate that I won't make many mistakes with mtm. (or, the )
Did you actually enter your additional income on your tax return?
What does this mean in insurance?
Do you think a car with a chip will perform worse later on?
sold?
Best regards, Daniel |

Hello Holger,
The fuel consumption has decreased by approximately 0.5 liters.
-I only had problems before the tuning (the typical rattling inside).
-On the 4th day, with approximately 350km, the 1st gear failed. Then, after about 1 year, I changed the gear oil to ensure that my beloved car could also operate smoothly at temperatures below 4°C, especially during the initial kilometers from 1st to 2nd. Shifting gears is very difficult (extremely difficult).
-MfA had developed into a strobe light...
-Speed increase of my car approximately +15km/h (speedometer). 210 km/h is always maintained, after that it's super...
Top speed like 130hp PD-TDI
Best regards,
Frank
